I have noticed a very, very slight squeek as the transmission shifts
from 1st to 2nd. No squeak during any other shifts. Fluid changed
regulary, roughly every 40k. Not due for another 8k.
As a side note, I just got 2 new tires for the front, however, I don't
think the squeak is the tires.
Any ideas? ... Tranny going?

Should also add that the fluid level is ok, and no obvious burning/bad |
odour...

Yep, it's going out. Better get another one quick.

How many miles?
I have only heard one actually squeak when it shifted, I
doubt that it is anything but bad news. |
